We have a Christmas caroling practice on Sunday.WHOO-HOO!!!!I'm wondering if this will be my last year as a tenor.Andrew R.
Nice!Maybe, maybe not... It all depends. Only time will tell. (An age-old saying ;)~Jay
Say, have you ever seen the movie Pendragon: Sword of his Father? It was a semi-finalist at the SAICFF 2009. It's probably my favorite movie. We got 4 inches of snow Friday night and this morning. Tomorrow we should have the first snowball fight of the season.Trivia question for ya: What was the biggest snowball fight in history? (No using the internet.)(I've got one other thing to tell you about, but I'll do that by email.)Andrew R.
Yep, I've seen that movie. It had some pretty cool elements to it... But I wouldn't classify it as my favorite. ;) They did a good job with what they had though, so I won't complain.Alright! That sounds like fun! Have you guys played Broomball yet?A: A Snowball fight between Yale and Harvard in 1894. ('Twas a random guess... No internet)Well, you know my email! :)~Jay
Sorry this is so long in coming-The biggest snowball fight in history occurred on February 25th, 1863, near Rappahannock Academy, between soldiers of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia. At least 9,000 confederate soldiers took part in the fight. There was another large fight near Dalton, Georgia, on March 22, 1864, involving 8,000 Confederate soldiers. The third-largest fight in history included at least six thousand Confederate soldiers, and took place in December 1862 near Fredricksburg. It was a friendly fightly between John Bell Hood's brigade and McLaw's division, in which JEB Stuart himself got involved.I could give you all the information of these fights, but I would recommend that you do internet research instead as it will be a bit more productive...The Union army never had any big snowball fights, of course, because spirits were generally low-not having anything to fight for generally does that.Andrew R.
Hmmm... That is interesting! :)Well I did know that the Yankees weren't generally full of good fun! It seems like they had more fun making misery for people, especially in Georgia and South Carolina.Well, it would've been fun to have seen those fights! I can't imagine how much fun the participants had! :) ...If they didn't get overwhelmed by the numbers... ;)~Jay
